But please don’t misread that. Yes, we are conservative in a dozen ways, but our great aim is to be very liberal in the most important way.

 

Our aim, as a church and as individual’s, is to so treasure God that our hearts and our lives brim with enthusiasm for him.

 

We want God to be our greatest joy, our greatest pursuit, or greatest devotion, or greatest thought, our greatest love. Because we believe that is where life is best lived. An ever increasing pleasure in him.

 

Yes, we are conservative in that we believe the Bible, God’s word, is wholly and perfectly from him, and in it he says that our greatest joy and pleasure and thrills are found in him.
